The square is dominated by three buildings, one next to the other: Palazzo dell&#8217;Arengo, Palazzo Garampi and Palazzo del Podest\u00e0. In the centre, since 1614, the statue of Pope Paul V has dominated, behind him the fa\u00e7ade of the Galli Theatre. Slightly out of the way is the Fontana della Pigna, from the Roman era which the people of Rimini simply call &#8220;Pigna&#8221;.
